Colored Prefolds
Colored prefolds are fun for every day diapering, or for making adorable burp cloths. You can use the colored diapers as-is, or embellish them with embroidery, cute fabrics, fun trims and other creative options. Colored prefolds are often called burp cloth diapers – but they are useful for many other things as well. You can place them on your lap to catch drips, use them as a liner in a high chair or car seat, or place them under babies head while they sleep to catch spitup. We often park one under the chin of a drooly baby – or near a tummy-time kid who happens to be a spitter.

We use colored prefolds instead of white or unbleached prefolds for my daughter. There is just something a little more fun about spicing up her cloth diapering with a splash of color. We wash them right along with all of her other diapers (after the first wash or two to be sure all the dye has washed out). We’ve never had a problem with them bleeding color onto the other diapers in the wash.
